When I looked through the book by the 17th century artist, PJ. Redoute "The Most Beautiful Flowers", each flower evoked an image and emotion as different as the flowers are in their colors, shapes, fragrance and movements. To me, they are not only flowers anymore, they have integrated into the big picture of life.
And so, I decided to begin a diary of painting my visions, emotions, moods and imaginations daily using one flower per day as my canvas.
It's a remarkable process to see and feel the unseen and to make out your own interpretation.
